THE SHINHWA FANLISTING; HISTORY

Shinhwa is a South Korean group composed of six members: Kim Dongwan, Shin Hyesung, Lee Minwoo (M), Mun Junhyuk (Eric), Lee Sunho (Andy), and Park Chungjae (Junjin). They debuted on March 24, 1998 after signing with SM Entertainment. They found great success in their beginning while doing joint or co-projects with their various labelmates.

In July of 2003, the group moved on to a new label, Good Entertainment, once their contract with SM Entertainment had expired. During this time, they began to venture into their own solo projects or further co-projects (under individual companies) with other artists--all while remaining together and continuing to release full-length studio albums as Shinhwa. During this time, they put together and managed a new group, Battle during their reality show Let's Coke Play! Battle Shinhwa!

When it came time for one group member, Andy, to serve in the military, the group continued on as five--though not disbanded. Eventually, each member was to serve his own individual military service--resulting in a four year hiatus. In 2012, Shinhwa made a comeback on their own label, Shinhwa Company, which was formed in 2011.

Shinhwa currently has 12 studio albums, 5 compilation albums, 4 singles, over 15 various DVD or VHS releases, and various solo member releases since their conception. Amazingly, they hold a record of maintaining their status as a group for more than 16 years--the longest for any group in South Korea to remain together without disbandment. They continue to enjoy success all around the world, especially in Korea and Japan. They are an amazing group of guys and I am very pleased to have played a small role in their success!
